Ved Vyas Campus Library which is the heart of Institute was established in 1997. It provides one of the important academic services to the Institute. It is well-equipped, centrally air-conditioned and equipped with computer and communication network houses library, centrally located with easy access and does provide right impetus for the intellectual growth of the students, teachers, research scholars & other around. Presently, the Library is a part of the Academic building & having around 22500 collections of documents of both print & non print materials.


The Library has been divided into different sections for its smooth functioning.

  1. Acquisition Section:-

Acquisition Section is located on the ground floor of the Library, this section acquires and prepares books and other reading materials selected by the faculty members and recommended by the Heads of various departments.


  1. Technical Section:

Technical section is to procure all types of documents (except journals) and their classification and cataloguing. Before the reading material is made available for use on the stacks, it is technically processed in this section. This section is also responsible for tooling of books which involve stamping, fixing labels, due-date slips, bar-code stickers etc.

  1. Circulation Section:

Issue and return of the books is handled with the manually as well as help of computer. The timing of issue and return of the books are 9:30Am to 5:00 pm. on weekdays.

  1. Text Book and Book Bank Section:-

The text book collection in the library consists of books prescribed in the courses of study or those recommended by the faculty members of this campus. Book Bank Books are issued predominantly to the PWD, SC, & ST & EWS students for the whole semester.

  1. Reference Section:-

This section has Encyclopedia, Dictionaries, Directories, Bibliographies, Year Books, Reports etc. which are only available for reference. User can make use of these resources.

  1. Periodical Section:-

In these section provides current information and also subscribed national & international journals,  magazines and newspapers. The latest issues are displayed on display rack and other previous issues are arranged in the drawer. Bound volumes of periodicals are arranged in rack alphabetically and are meat only for reference within the library.

Reference Service:   The members can approach at Reference Desk for any query and help regarding the Library collections, catalogue, availability of                          any document or other facility provided by the Library.

Consultation Service:-  Consultation service is for those who are doing research from any other university. They can avail the facility through the                                            recommendation of their HOD and supervisors.

Web OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue)

The Library’s Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) can be accessed on Intranet and Internet to search all the bibliographic records available in the Campus Library database through a web-based search interface or with window client of the e-Granthalaya Software. The OPAC can be searched by author, title, subject, keywords, classified number and publisher. The OPAC also provides information about new arrivals of journals/books, etc. in the Library.
